Ukraine reduced the transit of oil to Europe

Oil transit through the territory of Ukraine by pipeline transport in Europe has increased by 52 thousand tons.

Oil transit through Ukraine by pipelines to Europe in January 2019 increased by 5% (52 thousand tons) compared to the same period of 2017 – up to 1,097 million tons. This is evidenced by JSC Ukrtransnafta, Interfax reported on Tuesday, February 5.

According to the Agency, the volume of oil transportation to refineries of Ukraine in January-2019 made 162,4 thousand tons, which is 6.7% (11.6 thousand tons) less than in the same period of 2018.

Thus, in January-2019 the share of transit volume in total transportation of oil (1 million 259,4 thousand tons) was 87.1%, the share transfer at the oil refinery of the country is 12.9%.

It was reported earlier that Ukraine increased gas transit from Russia to Europe in the quarter.

By the end of 2018, the transit of oil through Ukraine by rail has decreased in 3,5 times .
