In Ukraine more than 800 companies involved in alternative energy

The national Commission approved new tariffs for solar and wind power generation in accordance with the new law.

The national Commission, carrying out state regulation in spheres of power and utilities, has reduced since August, the tariffs for electricity generated from alternative energy sources, according to the website of the national Commission Monday, August 3.

According to the recently adopted law for solar power plants tariff varies, depending on the time of the introduction of SES into operation: for introduced one of the first – 7, 37 UAH/kWh, one of the last of 3.29 UAH/kWh. For the rest of the SES will act the rate of 3,83 UAH/kWh.

For SES mounted on the facades and on the roofs of buildings, put into operation after 30 June 2015 to 4.54 UAH/kWh.

For wind farms the rate is set in size of 2.82 UAH/kWh and of 3.39 UAH/kWh.

For the solar and wind farms provided rate surcharge of 5% and 10% for the use of Ukrainian equipment.

According to the national Commission, Ukraine has 780 companies, which owns SES, and 27 – VES.

We will remind, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the law stipulates a reduction of tariffs for solar power by 15% for wind power – by 7.5%, without extension of the period of validity.
