“Ukroboronprom” will be transformed into a state management company

Leadership and management of the state concern “Ukroboronprom” will be replaced in the near future. This was during the roundtable said the Deputy Prime Minister for strategic industries of Ukraine Oleg Urusky, reports “UKRINFORM”.
“The concern “Ukroboronprom” is subject to substantial transformation. In the form in which it exists today, it can not exist. Management would be replaced. As far as I know, in the near future should be a change of leadership of the group. Will be replaced with the entire team that worked there last year,” said Urusky.
He does not exclude that will be changed and the name of the group, because “this name has become toxic in Ukraine.”
According to Urusky, “Ukroboronprom” will be converted to the state management company.
“It will be a management company with completely different functions, with a minimum of intervention in the economic activity of holdings that will be in this company”, – said Deputy Prime Minister.
Enterprises of “Ukroboronprom” is engaged in the development and production of weapons and equipment, scientific research and export-import operations. Part of the concern includes 10 design Bureau. At the enterprises of “Ukroboronprom” has about 67 thousand people, said on the website of the concern.
In April, Deputy Director General of concern Mustafa Nayem said that “Ukroboronprom” will be eliminated, but instead will be created by six corporations, specializing in rocket, aircraft, armoured vehicles, radar and naval systems, and aircraft repair.
In may the General Director of “Ukroboronprom” aivaras Abromavicius said that the company will be reformed in three stages.
