The horse helped to detect cancer from a professional jockey from Ireland. This publication reports The Sun.

While working in Australia, the 21-year-old Ryan O Connor (Ryan O’connor) kicked racehorse Carluke Miss (Karlakee Miss). After the hit, he began to suffer from back pain and decided to go to the doctor.

During the examination, he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. “Then I was healthy and in good shape, but I never felt normal, recalls O’connor. — It turned out that I had a tumor the size of nine centimeters.”

If not for the injury, the jockey could not notice a malignant tumor and start the disease.

“This type of cancer is one of the most aggressive rate of propagation, so it’s even better that I got kicked by a horse,” says the young man.

O’connor was operated on, the tumor was removed. After a course of radiotherapy, he was recognized as a fully healthy, but he’ll have to undergo regular checkups to make sure the cancer has not returned.
