In Europe there is no more Bank secrecy. Now on any open account immediately it becomes known to the tax authorities, said the European Commissioner for economy and Finance Pierre Moscovici, writes Prime.

“Bank secrecy in Europe is over. If anyone has an account in Switzerland, there is an automatic exchange of information, that is, we know,” said the Commissioner.

He also reminded that the agreement on information exchange was signed, in addition to Switzerland, Liechtenstein, San Marino, Andorra and Monaco .

Recall, January 5, 2016, President Petro Poroshenko signed a law allowing to disclose the banking secrecy on request of the Ministry of Finance to verify the data that citizens were provided in the design of social benefits.
