The results of the investigation, the AMC issued a verdict in the form of recommendations to the Ministry of Finance.

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine issued a verdict after prolonged investigations into the possible collusion of state banks. It is reported Finclub.

As noted, the AMC at its meeting on 28 December approved recommendations to the Ministry of Finance on the development of competition in the banking market.

With this issue, sanctions, or penalties are not provided.

“Recommendations provided by the results of the study of the functioning of the market of banking services in the context of increasing the number of public sector banks and growth in the share of these banks in certain segments of the banking market”, – reported in AMKU.

The Agency did not specify is there evidence of collusion and abuse of monopoly position of state-owned banks . It is reported about the reasons that make possible “concerted” action.

“The Antimonopoly Committee recommended that the Ministry of Finance with the aim of preventing distortions of competition on the banking market to take measures for ensuring the conditions for the appointment of chairmen and members of Supervisory boards of the Bank and the state Bank with state shares, which make it impossible for them to implement a consistent behavior or a decisive influence on the market”, – told in Antimonopoly Committee.

These recommendations are mandatory for consideration of the Ministry of Finance.

“About results of consideration of the recommendations of the Ministry of Finance is obliged to inform the Antimonopoly Committee in 30 days from the date of receipt”, – noted in Department.
