Russia after the occupation turned the Crimean Peninsula on a military base, which has become a threat not only for Ukraine but for the entire Black sea region, said the President Petro Poroshenko.

“Nearly four years have passed since then, as Russia made an attempt of annexation and occupation of Crimea and Sevastopol city. After the Russian occupation of Crimea has become a military base that threatens the security and stability of the entire black sea region,” he said during a speech at the General debate of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly.

“The aggressive policy of Russia together with the daring use of lethal weapons increases the threat,” stressed the Head of state.
