The city’s ambitious goal – to become the IT capital of Ukraine and the world, reminded the mayor of the city

At the station, where after 2.5 years in Lviv plans to open IT Park, June 30, laid a symbolic capsule of time, according to the portal of the Lviv city Council.

The event was attended by Lviv mayor Andriy Sadovyi, head of the Lviv regional state administration Oleg sinyutka, Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine Roman Vashchuk, investors, architects and developers of the project.

“In three years you won’t recognize this city. This is only the beginning. Cluster big plans”, – quotes the CEO of Lviv IT cluster Stepan veselovskyi Zaxid.net.

Building a new IT Park, the canadian company Brookfield Asset Management. The facility will occupy 10 hectares and can accommodate up to 10 thousand workers in the IT industry and more than 4 thousand employees in related industries. The complex will be built at the intersection of Stryiska and Cimoli, easily accessible from the airport, train station, University and historic town centre, noted at city hall.

At a press conference the Garden reminded that the city’s ambitious goal – to become the IT capital of Ukraine and the world. “Good that power, which does not interfere. The business will do everything itself”, – said the mayor.

In Facebook he added that the investor will invest in the establishment of the Park more than $160 million.
