In Vienna on Saturday, January 13, held a mass anti-government demonstration. The action was attended by about 20 thousand people, according to the Vienna police in his microblog on Twitter, noting that the more specific the number of participants is difficult to assess.

The demonstration was peaceful. The participants gathered in the square, Christian Ford at the Western station of Vienna, and marched to the city centre.

The organizers accused the ruling coalition of the Austrian people’s party (övp) and the Austrian freedom party (fpö) in the racist, right-wing extremist and neo-fascist tendencies.

Earlier in the morning, Chancellor of Austria and Chairman of ANP Sebastian Kurz confirmed the intention of the new government to put an end to illegal migration in the country. He called a “complete failure” of the actions of the politicians who are responsible for the large flow of migrants pouring into Europe in 2015.

In the elections to the lower house of the Austrian Parliament, held on October 15, 2017, won, ANP, gaining 31.5 per cent of the votes. In the second place Social democratic party of Austria (SDHP) with 26.9 percent, the third — prepopulate of APS, they are voted 26 percent of voters. At the end of the year, Sebastian Kurz has been appointed a Chancellor, and ANP and the MTA has created a coalition government.
