Bishop ptsu Photius urged to listen to the voice of the heart and act according to the commandments of love

The Orthodox Church of Ukraine (PCU) implements reforms and introduces new rules in the Orthodox churches, told the March 22 edition of “RBC-Ukraine”.

In particular, the PCU may be allowed to install benches in the churches, let the women not to cover their head with a headscarf in the temple, and to lift the ban on the funeral of the Catholics.

Ptsu Bishop of Zaporozhye and Melitopol Photios called the priests to listen to the voice of the heart and act according to the commandments of love.

“If a person was baptized into the Church of another jurisdiction, and died – tpoam it. Even Catholic”, he said.

The Bishop said that in the latter case, priests need to clarify why a Catholic asked the DNC for having a Church funeral.

2 February, the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan Epiphanius said that the people who first come to Church, not to do sharp remarks about appearance.

“A person cannot be found in appearance: it is covered with a head or not. We must accept it with love. And when she visits the temple in the second, the third time, she realizes that in this form you cannot visit the temple,” he said.
