The period of house arrest, wearing a bracelet for Pashinsky expired at the end of may

With the former Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Sergei Pashinsky, who State Bureau of investigation (RRT) in early July, was handed the indictment in the case of armed assault on the inhabitant of Kiev region Vyacheslav Chimiques, removed the electronic bracelet. On Friday, July 31, told the lawyer of the politician Gleb Fedur in the comment “Ukrainian news”.

“He’s already without a bracelet”, the lawyer said Pashinsky.

Fedur did not specify when it took this decision.

The source of the “Ukrainian news” in law enforcement bodies asserts that the period of house arrest wearing an electronic bracelet for Pashinsky expired at the end of may this year.

The prosecution asked the court to arrest Pashinsky with the alternative of bail. The court has satisfied the petition of Prosecutor’s office and elected Pashinsky personal obligation.

It is expected that the court hearing on the case Pashinsky will take place on 3 September.

GBR 28 APR announced that investigators completed a pre-trial investigation Pashinsky. The investigation established that on 31 December 2016 during the conflict with the citizen Vyacheslav Himikam near Kiev Pashinsky shot him with a pistol Glock 19. The victim had gunshot fracture of the femur of the left leg, which he received disability.

After the incident, the police informed that, before Pashinsky shot Himikos, the latter hit him on the head with a bottle and knocked down.

Policy is charged with part 1 of article 121 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (deliberate heavy injury), he faces from five to eight years of imprisonment.

In October 2019, the Pechersk district court of Kyiv sent the former Deputy under arrest, and in December changed the measure of restraint-hour house arrest.

Pashinsky was the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the V–VIII convocations. After the revolution of dignity, in March – June 2014, was the acting head of the presidential Administration.
