Law enforcement officers stopped eight online casino

Law enforcers have exposed the criminal group, which launched in Ukraine eight online casinos. On 10 April, reported the press service of the National police of Ukraine.

It is noted that the attackers organized the first online gambling site in 2010-2012 in Russia, but in 2013 was forced to relocate to Ukraine for criminal prosecution. Some of the suspects received Ukrainian citizenship.

In Ukraine for 12 former citizens of the Russian Federation in age from 28 to 34 years worked as a staff of 80 people. Among them IT professionals, developers online games, web designers, administrators of gaming web-resources experts round the clock online support, employees of the call center, accounting and the like.

Investigators of the police spent on the case 15 sanctioned raids, seizing hundreds of pieces of computer equipment, mobile phones, additional information carriers, Bank cards, checkbook American Bank Russian passports to members of a criminal group, official documents, weapons, ammunition, drugs and money in a foreign currency.

Two of the detainees had already declared suspicion under part 1 of article 203-2 (occupation gambling) of the Criminal code of Ukraine. Militiamen ask Darnitskiy district court of Kiev to apply a measure of restraint in the form of a pledge of 1 million UAH.

Activities, casino and sports betting is prohibited in Ukraine since the summer of 2009.
