16 people’s deputies registered the bill to ban music on public transport

The Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine recommended to consider a bill to ban open broadcast buses of music and movies. This June 17 was announced by MP from the “European solidarity” Vladimir vyatrovich on his page in Facebook.

“The parliamentary Committee on transport and infrastructure endorsed the bill to ban the acoustic violence in public transport. This project, initiated by the public, which we – 15 MPs of different factions – have made to protect occupants from Intrusive music. If the law will vote in plenary, the Ukrainians will be able, as in the civilized world, drive in silence or listen to music or the sound of movies through the headphones,” – said in the message.

Bill No. 3006 prohibits broadcast in the bus, the sounds of movies or other audio signals in addition to information about the trip.

At the same time allowed the transmission of sound through individual headphones for passengers, and the cabin – only for non-transport by agreement of all passengers.

4 February deputies registered in the Verkhovna Rada bill No. 3006 on amendments to the law “On automobile transport”. The initiators of the bill were made by 16 MPs of the “servant of the people”, “European solidarity”, “Voice”, “Batkivshchyna” and Deputy group “For the future”.

28 Jan the incident occurred because of Russian TV series in the bus “Lutsk — Kiev” volunteer Yarina Chornohuz asked the driver to turn off the show because he did not want “to listen to the TV product occupiers”. The driver refused and dropped her off, along with another volunteer in the middle of the road.
