Visit van And the DPRK will start on may 2

The Minister of foreign Affairs of China Wang Yi will pay a visit to the DPRK at the invitation of his North Korean colleagues Lee Yong Ho, told the Chinese Agency Xinhua on 30 April with reference to the speaker of the foreign Ministry of China, Lu Kang.

Wang will be in the DPRK on may 2-3.

Since 2006, North Korea has produced six nuclear weapons tests. The country launched a ballistic missile.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN from 25 to 28 March 2018 was an unofficial visit to Beijing, where he met with President of China XI Jinping. This trip was his first overseas trip since he became the head of the DPRK in 2011.

On April 27 the talks were held, Kim Jong-UN and South Korean President moon Jae-In. The two leaders announced the intention to formally end the Korean war. They signed the Declaration, which provides for joint work of the DPRK and South Korea on denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula. The leaders intend to sign a peace Treaty to replace the armistice of 1953. Technically North and South Korea are still at war.

Kim Jong-UN said that he would like to hold talks with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
