Animated film showing in kinoteatrah without subtitles

Laurynas Kasciunas, member of the parliamentary faction “Union of Fatherland – Christian Democrats of Lithuania” has complained to the State language inspection for showing in local cinemas cartoon in Russian without subtitles.

“I have asked the State language inspection to it within the framework of their competence assessed actions Forum Cinemas and informed about the decisions”, – said Cascone.

According to the Deputy, the film “Two tail” can be seen only in the original language – Russian. In this case, subtitles do not use.

“This is a violation of our laws,” he said.

Earlier in June, it was reported that in Latvia the law on universities adopted amendments that prohibit teaching in private universities and colleges of the country in Russian language. Changes in legislation effective from January 1, 2019. Previously, the ban on teaching in Russian language only applied to state universities.
