Patrushev retained the post of Secretary of the security Council

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has appointed Nikolay Patrushev Secretary of the security Council of the Russian Federation. The corresponding decree posted on the official Kremlin website.

A separate decree, Putin appointed Deputy Patrushev: Sergey vahrukov, Alexandra Grebenkina, Rashid Nurgaliyev, Mikhail Popov and Oleg Khramov.

The decree comes into force from the day of its signing.

Patrushev holds the post of Secretary of the security Council of the Russian Federation from may 12, 2008. From 1999 to 2008 he held the position of Director of the FSB.

May 18, Putin approved the new composition of the government, which the Minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation was Patrushev’s son Dmitry.
