Lodz: the launch of a test zone 5G

Zone cellular 5G launched in Lodz.
Scientists from the Lodz University of technology (Politechnika Łódzka) launched on Thursday, may 14, experienced area cellular 5G. 5G technology is the key to accelerated progress and development of not only the IT sector but also the economy and society as a whole, reports “Radio Poland”.
This was during the first run of the test networks of mobile cellular communication 5G Lozinski Polytechnic Institute, said the Minister of digitalization of Poland Marek Zagurskii</b>.
“5G technology is a very important tool for promoting economic development of the country, in particular the telecommunications market. It’s also business, economy, industry, which are based on the processing and transfer of data,” – said in łódź the Minister Zagurskii. He added that the government of Poland will consistently support local solutions in the development and implementation of the fifth generation technologies of mobile cellular communication.
According to the plan approved by the European Commission and the 5G Strategy for Poland, adopted by the government of Prime Minister Mateusz Moravcova, by 2025, the radius of the 5G network needs to be extended to all the largest Metropolitan area of Poland and the main highway.
