Ukrzaliznytsia has resumed the service of providing food to passengers of high-speed trains, and also began selling confectionery, water and other cold drinks in trains. About it on July 23 I reported a press-service of the company.

During the trip in trains “intercity+” and “intercity” passengers can buy food in individual packaging and ready meals, pre-packaged in tightly closed containers and do not require heating.

“However, passengers must observe the following rules: safe distance and stay in the car-the buffet not more than two persons. Peddling from a mobile truck by representatives of the catering company and delivery of the order from the car in the morning in place until they are carried out,” warned “Ukrzaliznitsya”.

Railway communication in Ukraine stopped on March 12 due to the outbreak of coronavirus and subsequent quarantine. On may 11 in Ukraine began the easing of the quarantine measures. Passenger rail services resumed from 1 June, but selling products in trains was banned: conductors offered only water.
