The price of whiskey, rum and gin is increased by 12%, cognac – by 6.6 to 9.5%. A bottle of vodka will rise to almost 90 hryvnia.
In Ukraine increased the minimum prices for alcoholic beverages. This is stated on the website of the State fiscal service.
It is noted that the government decree designed to protect consumers from counterfeit and surrogate products and reduce the volume of the shadow economy.
According to the decree, the minimum retail price for a half-liter bottle of vodka is proposed to increase by 12.4% to 89,4 UAH (397,76 UAH 447 and UAH per liter of 100% alcohol). Minimum wholesale selling price of vodka and alcoholic beverage products increased by 19.6% to 321 UAH/liter of 100% alcohol.
The minimum price on natural wines increased by 13.5% to 42 UAH per bottle 0.7 l in retail trade, fortified wine and vermouth by 8 .9%, to UAH 49, on the champagne for a bottle of 0,7 l – 12,4% to 89 UAH.
In addition, there is an increase in the minimum wholesale price of cognac “three stars” with 386,98 UAH per 1 liter of 100% alcohol to UAH 412,5, retail – 597,3 641,6 UAH to UAH, “four-star” respectively 412,85 UAH to UAH 455,2 and 645,17 696,7 UAH to UAH.
Cognac “five stars” the minimum wholesale price was reduced from UAH to RUR 481.6 495,95 UAH, while retail increased from 692,6 758,3 UAH to hryvnia,” – said in the message.
The decree will enter into force ten days after its publication. On the date of entry of the judgment will be announced later.
The Cabinet adopted a decision to increase the prices of alcoholic drinks on 5 September.
