The court decided not to extend the measure of restraint for the Chairman of the Kherson regional Council Vladislav Manger, who is suspected in the murder of activist and counselor of the mayor of Kherson Catherine Gandzyuk.

It clarifies LIGA.net this decision was made by the judge of Shevchenkovsky regional court of Kiev Marjan Holowczak.

It is noted that the prosecution asked to extend for 60 days a measure of restraint for the manger, and to oblige him and then not to leave Kherson without the permission of the investigation, to wear an electronic bracelet, to pass the passport for travel abroad, not to communicate with other persons involved in the production.

As told Prosecutor Victoria Kalita, remained the risk that a manger can hide and influence the investigation and witnesses. The lawyers in turn assured that their client is not going to escape from the investigation.

Comments RBC-Ukraine Prosecutor Dmitry dupe stressed that it is not known whether the prosecution to make a second request. According to him, the decision will be at the meeting.
