On Saturday, March 24, in the town of Khyriv in Lviv region there was a fire in the building of the former Jesuit College, which in 2016 is the hotel “Lar Palace” people’s Deputy Andrey Lopushansky.

On elimination of a fire left 11 fire trucks and 68 of rescuers. According to the spokesman of the Main Directorate of the SES in Lviv oblast Vitaly Turovtsev, the fire spread to the entire roof area of the building.

The mayor of the city Ivan holubec said that completely burned out the third floor of the building.

The complex, which was built in 1886, and completed in 1904 in neo-Renaissance style, is an architectural monument of local importance.
