An unidentified man with a knife attacked a restaurant in the area Moresnet-Chapelle in the East of Belgium, two people died, informs television channel RTL, with reference to the Prosecutor’s office and the mayor of the commune of plombières Terry Wimmer, reports UNN.

The mayor noted that the incident was not a terrorist attack, adding that the attacker was neutralized and he was “unable to cause harm”. Later in Prosecutor’s office reported that the incident killed three people, including the attacker. Law enforcement agencies and the authorities did not specify the circumstances under which killed the attacker.

According to eyewitnesses, quoted by TV channel, a man came to the restaurant to attack his former girlfriend and her stepmother. The publication notes that, according to unconfirmed reports, the girl broke up with a man a year and a half ago, after which he threatened her.

Earlier, 19-year-old migrant in France is stabbed four people.
