The head of the EBRD at a meeting with Zelensky in Davos expressed satisfaction with the progress of reforms in Ukraine

President of the European Bank for reconstruction and development (EBRD) Suma Chakrabarti during the meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on the sidelines of the world economic forum in Davos named Ukraine among the priority countries in the region, announced on 22 January, the press service of the Ukrainian President.

Zelensky thanked the EBRD President for the portfolio of projects in Ukraine in 2019 in the amount of €1,115 billion.

“I am very pleased that our constructive cooperation brings such results. And I hope that this will become our new normal level of cooperation… Is the goal that we set ourselves at our first meeting,” – said the President of Ukraine.

The EBRD President expressed satisfaction with the progress of reforms in Ukraine. He called Ukraine “the top-3 priorities in the region.”

“International financial architecture considering the possibility for new projects in Ukraine”, – is told in the message.

Zelensky received a delegation from the EBRD in June 2019. Ukrainian President Chakrabarti assured of the readiness of the Ukrainian authorities to develop cooperation.
