During the world football championship in Russia on the websites of the regional directorates of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia in 19 areas, 14 came news of a “negative nature”, according to “7×7”.
According to the newspaper, since the beginning of the football tournament and to the end (June 14 – July 15) in 19 regions of the country, the number of negative news — about the theft, robbery, looting, fraud decreased significantly.
In the majority of regions of Russia “negative” publications ceased to appear on June 7. In many cases, during the world Cup in the regions, not a single news of “negative” content. For comparison, at the website of the Ministry of internal Affairs in the Penza region during the month before the tournament published 196 news “negative” character, while during the world Cup, the same message was not at all.

The world Cup in Russia took place from 14 June to 15 July 2018. The final match between France and Croatia on 15 July at the Moscow stadium “Luzhniki”, ended with the victory of France with the score 4:2.
