NABOO is at the final stage o f a legal investigation upon approval of the controversial formula of members of the national Commission.

The amount of illegally obtained funds as a result of installation formulas Rotterdam+ is estimated at 15 billion hryvnia. This was stated by the Director of the National anti-corruption Bureau Sytnyk during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on preventing and combating corruption on Wednesday, October 3, RBC-Ukraine online reports.

“Now we’ve got an economic report that was really unreasonably applied tariff Rotterdam+… 15 billion – the amount of illegally obtained funds as a result of installation of this formula,” he said.

Sytnik said that now the NAB is in the final stages of their investigation.

“The work carried out, in fact we are now at the final stage… For the final decision need expertise together with the Prosecutor. After the examination a decision will be made”, – he said.

Sitnic also added that during the investigation, DTEK is voluntarily provided detectives NAB documents on the case that removed the need to carry out searches.

Note, the NEB launched an investigation upon approval of the formula Rotterdam+ members of the national Commission a year ago. According to investigators, the actions of officials led to economically unjustified increase in the price of electricity.
