Abroskin announced the creation of the new Department of national police

In the structure of the National police of Ukraine will be the unit for combating organized crime. On 3 February at the meeting said the first Deputy head of national police Vyacheslav Abroskin, reports the press service of the Ministry in Facebook.
According to Abroskin, a new Department is planned to be formed before the end of 2018.
Deputy head of national police said that law enforcement officers in the new division will recruit on a competitive basis.

For 11 months of 2017 in Ukraine were registered more than 500 thousand offences were declared by the head of the National police of Ukraine Sergey Knyazev, in December last year.
In March 2016 the Prosecutor’s office reported that the performance of detection of crimes in Ukraine fall because of the protracted reform of law enforcement agencies. Two months later, the then head of the National police of Ukraine Khatia Dekanoidze said the growth in the number of robberies and thefts in Ukraine by 20-25%.
In August 2016 Avakov said that the crime rate in Ukraine increased by 30-40%.
