A resident of Boryspil Irina Grigorieva got in the Kiev regional clinical hospital on 15 February. She had a high fever, headache and weakness. The diagnosis was disappointing – acute myeloid leukemia, first acute period, said the publication “GORDON” close friend Valentina Grigoryeva Rudnichenko.

“We never could, because every four months, Irina has passed the control of the oncologist. It was all good. Doctors believe that the disease could develop because of chemotherapy, which she suffered three years ago when recovering from breast cancer,” – said Rudnichenko.

According to her, she already passed the first stage of chemotherapy and is now preparing to continue the treatment. According to doctors, the girl may stay in hospital for about a year. She in turn will appoint courses of chemotherapy and antibiotics. The doctors said that in the future Grigorieva will need a bone marrow transplant. Such treatment in Ukraine is not carried out. To find a donor and transplantation will have abroad.

“Irina is a very kind, charming and sympathetic person. She is constantly engaged in social activities, always helped people with cancer, and now she needs the support,” said Rudnichenko.
