A bill to legalize “EuroBLECH” Rada adopted on 8 November

The head of the Verkhovna Rada Andrew Parubiy on November 22 signed a law on a customs clearance of cars on avtonomera. This is stated in laws No. 8487, No. 8488 on the Parliament website.

The laws sent to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

November 8, the deputies adopted the draft law on changes of excise duty rates for cars on avtonomera. They will depend on the fuel type, engine size and age of the car. It is assumed that for 90 days from the date of entry into force of the customs clearance of used vehicles with foreign registration will be possible with the use of a factor of 0.5, that is, part-time.

Another bill Rada toughened responsibility for violation of rules of transit of import of cars on avtonomera, increasing the size of fines, and banned the use of such vehicles for commercial purposes.

November 20, activists of the “Auto Euro Forces” began a protest in which they blocked the road in several regions of Ukraine. They want the formula of calculation of excise duty removed the factor of age. “Auto Euro Force” requires the President to veto the laws. On November 21 a protest temporarily stopped.
