Among journalists, diplomats, businessmen, politicians and other public figures of Estonia discovered people who, presumably, are the agents of influence of Russia, said in US July 20, the Director General of the Estonian foreign intelligence Department Mikk Marran, reports Delfi.

“We established consisting of politicians, journalists, diplomats, businessmen network, which actually includes agents of influence of Russia, which say that they should do. We can clearly see that these people impose on Russian action plan,” said Marran.

Marran added that in recent years the Kremlin began to use agents of influence and increase their role. He cited the example of politicians who worked for years at the level of local governments, and now were held in national parliaments and governments of different countries.

“What they offered is media attention and political support, exclusive, business-opportunities, and in rare cases also financial assistance”, – said the head of the Estonian foreign intelligence.

However, he did not mention any specific name.
