Klimenko noted that on may 23, 2018, around 23.30, after the termination of the “warning” in the same area, 13 miles South of Berdyansk spit, was detained Bulgarian ship MAXAL RAISE, which went from Mariupol to Bourgas. On the morning of 24 may, there was detained a Turkish ship HACI RUSTU K, which came from Turkey in Mariupol.
“Any exercises and firing in a closed area of the Azov sea, Russia de facto has not conducted! Was observed two aluminum boats type Wellboat (it’s a motor boat). It’s called “take off”. Checked the reaction of Ukraine, convinced that she no. Will go further… actions of the Russian Federation on the sea in Berdyansk and Mariupol aimed at intimidating the shipowners with a view to their refusal to work with these ports”, – he stressed.
