The Pension Fund deficit in recent years tends to decrease. The revenues of the Fund this year is 408 billion.

The deficit of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in 2019 is about 30 billion UAH, said the head of the PFC Board Evgeny Kapinus.

“The deficit of the Pension Fund in recent years tends to decrease. This year we have about 30 billion UAH, the deficit of the Pension Fund. This figure shows that the pension system stabiliziruemost” he said.

He also added that the revenues of the Fund this year is 408 billion UAH. In January-April, the Pension Fund sent 134 billion UAH for payment of pensions and 8.4 billion UAH – for the payment monetize the subsidies.

Earlier it was reported that the Cabinet of Ministers has provided for the payment of pensions and benefits in 2018 due to the diversion of substantial funds in the amount of 20.8 billion UAH from the unified Treasury account to cover cash gaps of the Pension Fund.
