DTEK has completed the acquisition of 68,2949% of shares of JSC Odessaoblenergo and 93,9978% Kyivoblenergo PJSC holding VS Energy.

The program of development of electric networks in Kiev and Odessa regions will be focused on the system of digitalization of infrastructure management, increase security of supply and quality of customer service, stated the company.

The press service with reference to the General Director of DTEK Network Ivan Galuga noted that the national regulator the national Commission monitors the work of operators of the distribution system, imposing obligations on the unconditional provision of access network infrastructure from any vendor of electricity.

“Thus, the concentration of new assets DTEK does not restrict the customers in the market able to choose from whom they buy electricity. Today the market of electricity supply customers is fully competitive, and DTEK supports the development of competition”, – said Galuh.

In his words, to simplify connections to electric grids in each region, DTEK has established a special Department for new connections and optimization of internal processes. As a result, for example, in the river last year were able to connect 2.5 times more new customers to the grid – almost 8 thousand.

Recall Odessaoblenergo by the end of 2018, reduced net profit 5.3 times compared to 2017 year – to 0,94 million, and its revenue increased by 11.2% – to 8 billion 425,387 million.

Kievoblenergo in 2018 increased net profit by 6.8% to 233,16 million, and its revenue increased by 18% – to 9 billion 470,99 million.
