Special envoy of the US state Department on Ukraine Kurt Volker said that he was going to discuss the controlled withdrawal of Russian forces in the Donbass and the liberation of the hostages by Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov.

He reported about it in interview “Radio Freedom”.

“First of all, the meeting with Mr. Surkov, I hope to lay out a vision for US of what we can do to accelerate the end of conflict. This will require decisions on the withdrawal of its forces. And controlled by forces that are there, in the end should be disbanded,” said Walker.
