Became known to the Ukrainian weightlifters at the world Cup.

C 1-10 November in Ashgabat will host the world Cup in weightlifting.

Ukraine at the world championship will represent 10 sportsmen, but only three of them will perform in the strongest group A:

Women: Kamila Konotop (55 kg, group C), Maria Gangur (55 kg), Irina Deha (81 kg), Anastasia Lysenko (+87 kg).

Men: Igor Konotop (81 kg), Illa Kulikov (96 kg), Vladimir Goza (96 kg), Dmitry Chumak (102 kg), Konstantin Reva (102 kg), Oleg Slobodyanuk (+109 kg).

Note that the last world Cup Ukraine missed out on a year of Ineligibility for which our Federation has imposed the international Federation due to the large number of athletes who are caught doping.
