From 1 July the cost of living has increased by 77 UAH and amounted to 1 thousand 777 USD. Before that, the last time it was increased in January.

In Ukraine today, July 1, the subsistence minimum increased by 77 UAH – to UAH 1 777. This is stated in the law on state budget for 2018.

“Set in 2018, the subsistence minimum on one person counting on the month in the amount of 1 January 2018 1 700 UAH, from 1 July – 1 777 UAH, December 1 – 1 853 UAH”, – the document says.

In addition, for children under 6 years living wage from 1 July increased by 67 UAH and is now 1 559 UAH; for able-bodied persons – UAH 79, to 1 841 UAH; for persons who lost working capacity, – 62 UAH to 1 UAH 435.

Note, from 1 January minimum wage for 2018 is set at 3 723 UAH per month and $ 22,41 UAH in the hourly .

Note that according to the budget resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers to 2019-2021 years the living wage from 1 January 2019 is projected at 1 853 UAH, from July 1, 2019 – 1 936 UAH, from December 1, 2019 – 2 011 UAH.

Earlier, the Minister of social policy of Ukraine Andriy Reva said that real wages in Ukraine in five months of this year increased by 11%.
