The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during the visit to Davos to attend the world economic forum held a meeting with President of Switzerland Alain the bers and invited him to visit Ukraine with official visit. About it reports a press-service of Administration of the President.

“The interlocutors noted the importance of intensifying the cooperation of the competent authorities of the two States in questions of return to Ukraine of frozen assets that had been illegally removed by former Ukrainian officials”, – stated in the message.

As you know, in March 2014 Switzerland has frozen the accounts 29 Ukrainian ex-officials.

Poroshenko also thanked the members for the important role of Switzerland in mobilizing humanitarian efforts to overcome the consequences of Russian aggression in the Donbas.
