The IMF commented on the situation in Ukraine

The international monetary Fund has no legal obstacles to continuing cooperation with Ukraine. This is stated in the statement of the IMF resident representative in Ukraine Yosty of Longman of 26 November, which is in the possession of the edition “GORDON”.
“We are seeing the recent developments, including the introduction of martial law, and we hope for urgent de-escalation of the situation. The IMF has no legal restrictions on the continuation of cooperation with Ukraine in this situation”, – said Longman.
On 15 November the Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman expressed hope that Ukraine will receive a new tranche from the International monetary Fund in December.
November 25, Russia seized the Black sea boats of the Ukrainian Navy “Berdyansk” and “Nikopol” and the tug “Kapu Yana” who were going to pass through the Kerch Strait in the Azov sea. The courts opened fire. We know about three wounded. Boats and tugs delivered to the port occupied Kerch.
