At this meeting, February 14, the government approved the action plan for the year 2018 in order to overcome poverty. The Cabinet believe that it will help to reach European standards of life.

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the action plan to 2018 to implement the Strategy of poverty alleviation. The decision was taken today, February 14, at the government meeting, reports UNN.

As noted, the government identified specific measures to 2018, aimed at: improving the effectiveness of employment policies; increase of population incomes; providing of access of population to social services; minimizing risks of poverty; social exclusion of the most vulnerable categories of the population.

The Cabinet believe that the implementation of these measures will contribute to achieving targets for poverty reduction and the achievement of European living standards, creation of special conditions to eliminate the exclusion of certain groups.

Recall that about 12% of Ukrainians believe that they do not have enough money to buy food.
