The third race of the world Cup in a row won by Frenchman Martin Fourcade.

Two Ukrainian biathletes pryma Artem and Dmitry Pidruchny hit the top ten in the sprint race at the fifth stage of the biathlon world Cup, which takes place in Ruhpolding.

Pryma Artem showed the second best result in his career, with two zeros and good speed, he became the eighth first-time since March of 2017 once in the top 10 in the individual competition of the world Cup. Better prima vystupl only once – when the 2013/14 season in the sprint Oberhof he was the fifth.

Dmitry Pidruchny also worked flawlessly on the milestone, and thanks to the high speed on the last lap he finished tenth.

Pleased with the shooting and Semenov Serhiy and Anton Dudchenko, who showed very smooth results with respect to each other. Anton, however, stayed longer at the shooting range, but was slightly faster on the track Sergey. At the finish they were separated by just half a second: Semenov 36th, Dudchenko 37th.

Debutant of the national team Bogdan Tsymbal, who spent only the second race on the world Cup performance, missed two shots and finished in 88th place.

The fight for victory led the French Martin Fourcade and moravec Ondrej. In favor Fourcade played later room – both worked at borders without penalties, knowing the schedule of Fillon maillet, Fourcade on the last lap control of the situation, winning in the end, three seconds. Third place on the podium went to German Benedikt doll.
