Lyashko: Millions of Ukrainians are deprived of medical care

The leader of Radical party Oleg Lyashko in the Verkhovna Rada on March 14 called illegal appointment of Uliana Suprun, acting Minister of health of Ukraine, reports “GORDON”.

According to Lyashko, Suprun is American and Ukrainian citizenship, which is illegal and unconstitutional.

“The people Ulyana Suprun called “doctor Death”. And this “doctor of Death” with several passports without any responsibility, without roots in Ukraine, no political responsibility of conducting the so-called reform, in which millions of Ukrainians are deprived of medical care”, – said Lyashko.

The MP demanded that the Cabinet immediately submit to the Parliament the submission on the appointment of the Minister of health of Ukraine and to suspend Suprun.

On January 30 in Ukraine came into force the law on medical reform. In November 2016 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the concept of reforming of the healthcare system. The reform is planned for three years.

Suprun was born and lived in USA, but in 2013 with her husband mark, had moved to Ukraine. 11, 2015, President Petro Poroshenko has granted Ukrainian citizenship to spouses. 27 July 2016, the Cabinet appointed Suprun, acting Minister of health.

3 August 2017 journalist and TV presenter Natasha vlashchenko, citing sources reported that Suprun has not renounced U.S. citizenship.
