The case against women reclassified

Prosecutor’s office sent to the Dzerzhinsky district court of Kharkiv indictment against the nanny who beat a child with cerebral palsy. Reports a press about it-service of Prosecutor’s office of Kharkiv region.

“The woman was informed about the suspicion on the fact of causing intentional light bodily injury (part 1 of article 125 of the criminal code of Ukraine) minor child. However, during the investigation collected evidence that provided grounds for changing the suspicions of the actions of the women reclassified under part 1 of article 127 of the criminal code of Ukraine (torture)”, – noted in Prosecutor’s office.

The maximum sanction of the article envisages five years of imprisonment.

15 March edition of NewsRoom reported that a woman in Kharkov took off on a hidden camera as nanny beat her 14-year-old daughter with cerebral palsy. The police said that the babysitter was taken to the police Department.

Later it became known that information about the incident included in the Unified register of pre-judicial investigations under article 125 (intentional slight bodily injury) of the Criminal code of Ukraine.
