The letter from the musician of the British band The Beatles John Lennon, which he wrote to his ex-wife Cynthia Powell, was put up for auction. This was reported on the website of RR auction.

The musician wrote to the ex-spouse a letter in response to the publication of excerpts from her memoir A Twist of Lennon in the publication of News of the World. Lennon was asked to stop talking about their relationship.
