The hockey team of the Czech Republic defeated the team of Switzerland in the final match of the group stage of the Olympic tournament at the Olympic Games 2018 in Pyeongchang and directly made it to the 1/4 finals of the competition.
The group a match, which took place on Sunday in Gangneung, ended with the score 4:1 (1:1, 0:0, 3:0) in favor of the Czechs. The winners washers threw Michal, Rzepin (8-I 60-I minute), Dominique Kubalik (44) and Roman cervenka (59), the Swiss scored Thomas Rufenacht (15).
The Czech Republic team scored 8 points and secured first place in the table Quartet, which gives a direct ticket to the 1/4 finals of the Olympic tournament. The Swiss team with 3 points took the third spot in the group.
We will remind that the Olympic games 2018 in South Korea’s Pyeongchang will be held from 9 to 25 February. It involved athletes from 92 countries will compete for a record for winter Games medals – 102 kit.
