A new study found that almost 90% of the sentences in “Black Friday” can be found at lower or same prices at other times of the year, according to RetailGazette, citing the results of a study Which? On the basis of price data during the “Black Friday” in 2017, the experts concluded that buyers need to pre-test the value of the goods before making the purchase at the time of sales, writes RetailersUA.

Managing Director at Which? Alex Neill said that these results may disappoint those who are eagerly waiting for discounts in the “Black Friday”.

Which? traced how the price of 94 popular products, including televisions, cameras, and fitness trackers that have been proposed during the “Black Friday” of 2017 (the period for half a year before the start of sales, and half a year later). The study found that the vast majority (87%) of goods was cheaper at other times of the year.

The study was analyzed proposals and leading retailers: Currys PC World, Amazon, John Lewis and Argos, from which 46% of the proposed goods were sold for less six months after “Black Friday”.
