The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky has appointed Alexei Petrov, head of the Zakarpattia regional state administration.

The corresponding decree №151 appeared on the website of the head of state in catreg, April 22. “To appoint Petrov Alexey Gennadievich, head of the Zakarpattia regional state administration”, – the document says.

However, decree No. 150 of April 17, Zelensky Petrov was dismissed from the post of head of the security Service of Ukraine in Kirovohrad region.

It is known that from 2017 to 2019 Petrov headed the counterintelligence Department of the SBU. From this post he was dismissed August 27, 2019 and was appointed head of the SBU office in Kirovohrad region.

Also the new head of the Transcarpathian regional state administration has the title of honored lawyer of Ukraine, Professor, doctor of legal Sciences, and supervises the educational-scientific Institute of the SBU.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, Zelensky had planned to present Petrov during his working visit to Transcarpathia, on 16 April, but then the familiarity of the region with the new head for unknown reasons did not take place.
