“The increased demand of importers for foreign currency in the autumn was one of the main factors of the weakening of the hryvnia. Pressure in the cash market there is – the population sells more than it buys the currency. The course in the future will be floating and will depend on the balance of supply and demand”, – is spoken in the message.

To reduce the exchange rate risks of the business the national Bank was advised to actively use this instrument for hedging foreign exchange forward.

In the Parliament and the Cabinet made a forecast for the hryvnia exchange rate
