First day of finals, the women took the gold for Ukraine.

Three Ukrainian European champion brought the fourth day of the European championship on wrestling, which takes place in Bucharest.

In category to 50 kg the champion of Europe became the bronze prize-winner of last year’s world championship Oksana Livach.

On the way to the final Ukrainian alternately defeated Azerbaijani Turkan Nasirova and the representative of Turkey mine demirhan, and in the final defeated the Bulgarian athlete Miglena Selishka.

In category to 55 kg was won the European championship Irina Gusyak. She is in starting the battle won the representative of Turkey Bedau Gyun, in the semi-finals – silver medalist of the world championship-2018 Zalina Sidakova from Belarus, and in the final won convincingly against Bulgarian Evelina Georgiev.

Gusyak the second time in his career he became the winner of the continental championship. In 2013 she won bronze at competitions in Tbilisi.

Confirmed its level of world champion in the category up to 68 kg Alla Cherkasova. In starting fight in qualifying Alla defeated pole Agnieszka, Vasek-Kordus, in the quarterfinals, was defeated by Sweden’s Jenny Fransson, in the semi – Irina Netreba from Azerbaijan, and in the ending the victory was won over the Czech player Adela Hanzalkova.

In the bronze final on this day was fought in the category up to 59 kg angelina lisak, but lost.

On Friday, April 12, Ukraine is expected to have a scattering of medals, because Lily Horishna (53 kg), Tatyana kit (57 kg) and Alina makhinya-gentle (72 kg) reached the final, and Ilona, Prokopevsk (62 kg) will fight for bronze medal in consolation tournament.

Earlier the bronze medal was won by two Ukrainians in wrestling — Vasily Shuptar (65 kg) and hotsyanovskiy Alexander (125 kg).
