In the Euro zone will be played 13 trips to the world Cup.

The UEFA Executive Committee announced the format of the qualifying tournament of the world Cup in 2022. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian football Association.

It is noted that the 55 European teams will be divided into 10 groups (five to six teams and five – on-five). The winner of each group will directly move on to the final stage of the world Cup.

The remaining three places from Europe will compete for the 10 second teams of the qualifying groups and the top two teams selected after the selection of the League of Nations-2020/21.

Now this scheme must approve in FIFA. The date of the draw for the qualifying tournament is still unknown.

Recall that the 2022 world Cup will be held in Qatar from November 21 and will end on December 18. In the finals of the tournament will feature 48 teams.
