Present at the round table reporters asked trump to comment on the use of tear gas against the migrants and their children. “I’d ask why they went there? First, [the used] tear gas is a very weak form of tear gas as such, it is very safe,” said the head of state.

He wondered why parents, knowing that the border will use tear gas, go there with their children. “In some cases it’s not parents. It’s people who are called “invaders”. They take the kids, because I think it gives them a certain status, certain benefits,” says trump .
