A motorist rammed the door of the Church and came into the room. So the man wanted to “escape from the devil.”

In the Spanish province of Toledo in the municipality of Sonseca the man behind the wheel of an SUV, rammed the doors of the Church, managed to reach the altar, breaking the path of Church pews, writes Digital de Castilla la Mancha.

“Attack” occurred at the Church of St. John the Evangelist, who is considered the patron Saint of the city.

A motorist was 35-the summer local resident. He police explained that he considered possessed by the devil and wanted to hide from him in a Church altar.

The man was hospitalized in Toledo. He faces arrest.
